From what I'm reading here this beer is going to be a year round beer with somewhat just below Blind Pig as far as distribution quantity? Haven't had it yet. Looking forward to it. Anyone know the availability in San Diego but especially Temecula area?

I don't think that's the case. It might be seasonal, but I was under the impression that this would be the only bottling for a while. Who really knows, though? I don't recall RR saying definitively.

A second wave hit distribution around here this past week, but it's the same bottling date. My guess is that they sold less of it than they expected at the pub, and so sent another (bigger, from the sound of it) round out.

Yeah, given that they refer several times to the Hop-growers' Series, my assumption is that they will rotate Row 2 in bottles with Happy Hops, and Segal Select. Maybe one release of each per year?

I've noticed that too. They usually have Pliny and Blind Pig always stocked. Hoping to try it!

Are you in Napa? Or San Rafael?

I was told by someone in the know a couple of days ago that they are considering it for year round release. But nothing definitive.

I hope they go for it, but I also hope that if they do go for it that it won't come at the cost of current production of Pliny/BP.

They should 6 pack it. So tired of the single format bottles. A Pale Ale should be in a 6 pack, 4 minimum.

They could just cancel BP imo.

I live in Napa. The beer guy was stocking exactly 2 bottles of Pliny and 2 bottles of BP today haha.. I should have asked him about Row 2.

wtf? they normally have like 10+ of each. lame.

Sweet, Napa here too. Over in the lettered streets. I've organized a FiftyFifty craft beer dinner at Kitchen Door (at Oxbow) on August 20 and they're gonna have BART. It's $65 (tax/tip included) but includes 6 beers paired with 5 courses, not a bad deal at all. You should try and make it out!
