I'll give you an entire sentence I over-use because it is the most common type of mouthfeel: "Mid to light bodied with a ____ carbonation."

Nearly every beer I try is "Mid to light bodied" but you know what? If the shoe fits, I say wear it.

"Dry Hopped IPA" I see it all the time and it's just a marketing ploy, all IPAs are dry hopped.

    Hand Crafted - really?
Finest Ingredients - Like everyone else then?
Innovative - Hoying some fruit into your bog standard stout does not make you innovative.

World class is used so much it's lost its meaning. Quaff, price point, epic, and spelling whales with a z could go away today as well and the scene would be better for it.

I get a bit disoriented when people describe 'tropical' hoppy beers: mango, papaya, pineapple... it's like they just cite every tropical fruit that comes to mind. I don't think I've ever tasted pineapple in a beer, or papaya for that matter.

Yeah I hear you man. But I've seen it used where the person failed to purchase the beers. But it got used anyway

Liquid. Like "they make great liquid". Its the worst...though I feel the people that say it are mostly in the business. Which ensures I'll never buy that beer.

Similarly, I fear that I put too much emphasis on lacing. Sometimes it's just so damn pretty though........

Shelf turd. It's just generally distasteful and people don't even use it right. Not every beer for sale on the shelf is a "shelf turd". The original definition was a limited release that didn't sell well and therefore has negligible trade value. If you have to use it at least use it right. But please don't use it.
