Another vote for complex. Especially when it's being used to describe something like a 15% stout brewed with chili peppers and then aged in bourbon barrels

Agree about top 250. A bogus list with way too many shelf turds like Heady Topper.

Yes! I've never owned cats. I don't think I have ever actually smelled cat piss. But, for some reason I always use it.

"Swill," it's the lamest and most overused description of anything someone dislikes.

Also "fresh," which is a relative term. Fresh compared to what??? It means something different to everyone.

"Craft," which is also run into the ground. Technically, all beer is "crafted" by someone that has the skill to do so. It's a label that people put on beer they "approve" of.

Yet another one I am guilty of. Seriously though, this thread has taught me to open up the thesaurus a bit more often. As far as "piney" goes, I'll offer another few I use way too much is "citrusy" and "earthy". Maybe I'll start breaking down smell and taste to the actual elements that make it seem earthy or citrusy from here on out!

Your post suggests an awesome IPA name - "Dank Passion". Dibs on copyright!

I would find the store carrying that beer and smash them all with a bat.
