I am looking for some reccomendations on a good case of beer. Something in the $100 range. I keep a collection with a few guys from work and when we have enough cash we spring for something that we wouldn't normally buy on our own. Our first case was New Holland's Dragon's Milk and I am hoping to come up with something just as good for our second.

    Thanks for the help!

I am located in eastern PA, about 30 minutes outside of Philly. The group tends to lean towards stouts more than anything else but a few of the guys (myself included) are big IPA fans.

With that in mind we are open to anything, we are just looking to try some new, hopefully very good, beer.

Damn, Dragon Milk was a $100 case? I would reccomend Founders Breakfast Stout when it comes out. I don't know how easy it is to get a case of that, but it should be in the $60-70 range.

Since the leanings of your group are different, instead of looking for something that costs $100 a case, why don't you mix and match so that everybody gets something they like. Oh wait, you said you are from PA so that may not be possible. Oh well.

I would assume these would be under that budget by a fair margin but: Troegs Java Head Stout, Founders Porter, Founders Breakfast Stout, Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald, Great Lakes Blackout Stout.

Man the only beer I purchase by the case is Nugget Nectar, but I know PA has some screwed up distribution laws.

I can't even think of a non-sour case of beer that costs that much.... WWS?

DFH 90 min? I'm not even sure that is up there in that range.

Hah. Its been at least 3 years since I've even seen it make it to the shelf around here. A local bar recently raffled off an entire case for charity though, $2 per ticket.

Why such a hard rule? Why not 4 different 6 packs? Or 6 four packs?

PA has weird (archaic) distribution laws. it is very difficult to find stores that sell 6/4 packs or individual bottles.

I know its way less, but pretty much every beer being suggested in this post has been under a $100 for a case
