That's since changed, thank goodness. We've many times went to our distributor with a group of people, put a dollar amount ceiling on the purchase, everyone buys a case and then it all gets split equally. Not relevant to the OP's question (my response that is), just wanted to share.

 

Don't know you're prices, but Yeti or Parabola. May be set up a good trade and get something unavailable in PA.

And what do you mean by "collection" are you planning on drinking these, or do you guys get together, go hunting, and take action pics of you and the beers?

this past year i dindt see one on the shelf. the year before they were sitting around and a local place had the 2009 on tap for a loooooong time.

 

Buy a case of St. Bernardus Abt 12, or a 12 pack of Rochefort.

 

I'd say Stone Double Bastard. That or Orval.

 

Not exactly a stout but dark enough - Hair of the Dog Adam (About a $100 per case of 24 12oz'ers)

IPA's - Don't know a case that runs for $100 in 12oz'ers but maybe Alesmith IPA or Summer Yulesmith in Bombers should be close enough, I would go with the latter as it is tasting great, alas it's a DIPA.

 

Dogfish Head Burton Baton is pretty tasty & got switched to year-round earlier this year, and usually runs about $15/4-pack, so i'd imagine that's around the range you're looking for.. (fresh is good but aged is significantly better.. might want to buy 2 if you can )

 

I came here to say this. Find a case of Adam and you will be happy.

OP - it shouldnt be too difficult to find around the philly area, call up some distributors and see if you can snag one. i know bella vista in philly on 11th and fitzwater has it sometimes, as well as fred. you can also spend like 5 years drinking your way through the case if you have decent storage conditions.

 

Ughh, Dragon's milk managed to create one of the booziest only 10% beer on earth. The great news is that every suggestion you will get is a move up.

 

HotD Adam! Not sure if it's under $100 per case though.

 

That would be fantastic, but youd be hard pressed to find 1 bottle of Adam sitting on shelves out here let alone a case.
