Queue started but did not determine your place in line. You were let in at random. For example, my girlfriend joined the queue in the last minute and got immediately in. I was in it for 10 minutes and never got through.
MBAs have always shared their passwords. Didn't used to be a problem until the huge influx of new drinkers in the past few years. This mailing issue though is a big concern.

 

To all the Veterans. How much cash do you guys usually take for this event. So I know which ones to rob....

But for real, I bring enough to cover my DL allotment + possible BA Variant, any glassware I may want to buy, number of taps I think I my hit times $5, and then an extra $50 or so to make sure I'm covered.

 

I think I brought about $300 last year to be safe.

 

Wasnt something with cognac mentioned as well?

I think it was mentioned earlier, you'll have to dig for it somewhere in thread I can't remember, about this being the year that we see double double barrel dark lord

 

Doesn't Abyss use a blend of several different barrel conditioned base beer? I'm thinking this (double double barrel) could be very possible, especially given the popularity of DB Huna, BourbRum Plead The 5th, and in this mention, Abyss.

 

A true double barrel is the same beer aged in 2 different barrels not a blend

 

Yeah, the Abyss is bourbon, white oak and pinot noir barrels.

 

I took $300 last year, it was plenty of money. I only purchased one cup of beer though. Mostly drank shared pours and stuff I brought. In retrospect, I will be aiming to do the same thing this year, as I was able to pace myself out, drink great, new beers, save cash, still have a good time, and was satisfied enough that I cut myself off in the evening and was able to drive myself out of there.

 

50% Aquavit/ 50% Sherry barrel Dark Lord sure sounds tasty, doesn't it?

 

Caraway and/or Dill in my Dark Lord? HELL YEAH
