Rather than starting a pointless, new thread, I'll bring this one back to life. A deep playoff run for both the Blackhawks and Bulls benefits us two-fold:

Bourbon County Stout to be sold at Blackhawks, Bulls games

Here’s another reason to root for a long Bulls or Blackhawks playoff run: Goose Island’s family of Bourbon County beers will be available at the United Center as long as either team is still playing this spring.

Beginning with Saturday’s 6 p.m. Bulls game against the Milwaukee Bucks, the 2014 version of Bourbon County Stout will be on draft in the Goose Island Brew Pub.

As each team progresses through another round of the playoffs, a new variant from Goose’s heralded Bourbon County family will be tapped. Bourbon County beers are brewed annually and released to long lines on the day after Thanksgiving.

Bourbon County beers at the United Center will of course get stadium pricing: $15 for a 5-ounce pour. But fans are free to take the beer back to their seats while hoping this is the season the Bulls can finally get past LeBron and the Hawks have a Stanley Cup hat trick in them.

Let's not forget the minor cost of a playoff ticket either.

in the economics of concession stand goods, $15 is not horrible, given a 16 oz bud draft is prob $9

$15 for a 5 oz. pour of BCS is right in my sweet spot, count me in.

Being that a 10oz Matilda is $12.50, I'm surprised BCS isn't more. But yeah, a bit ridiculous.

Taken at face value, yeah that's ridiculous. But at a sports event, or something like a movie theater, that's perfectly acceptable, given the pricing precedents already set at such places.

I'm not saying I'd buy at $15 for 5 oz., but when you get to the counter and are looking at $6 for a hotdog, your perspective changes a little.

Not to start with the mongering of the rumors, but according to a source in a certain Chicago-focused craft beer group on FB there won't be any 4 packs of any Bourbon County product in 2015. New label coming, too.

I like it; the labels look like small batch bourbon labels. With that being said, I really hope they don't just get rid of the 4-packs of regular (12 oz.). A bomber is not the format I want my Bourbon County in. I'm fine with variants going that route, but regular should always be in a 12 oz. form.

I dunno, the label pictured there is for 25oz regular... :slight_frown:

I will also be very disappoint if 12oz reg and coffee are gone. Please don't do it GI.
