Not sure about this...if the 6 bottle was initially the best (best deal between the two as I stated above) option, I don't see how it becomes a worse deal By adding bottles.

Ticket 1 (3&3) is ultimately a better value, but it's because of the Eventbrite Fee. The difference in value is $5.1748, and the difference in Eventbrite fee is $5.18. If you exclude the fee (which Firestone has no control over), then the two options are separated by 1 cent in favor of ticket 2 (6&6).

And per Google, Buellton tax rate is 8%.

@64vdub right, I'm saying the original 6&6 Ticket was not a better deal (see math, it comes out to 5$ less by buying the 3&3 with 3 bottles of each extra. Perhaps in your math you did not do tax and crv?

@FrogOut69 but Firestone doesn't have to offer a 6&6 Ticket. If everyone bought the 3&3 and 3 bottles of each consumers pay less and more of it goes to Firestone vs Eventbrite (yes I'm aware this opens up a quandary of what ifs for if people don't buy all the bottles and having less planning for how many bottles they can assume will be sold, but I still think it would be the smarter decision in the long run).

@FrogOut69 if Firestone has no control over eventbrite fees then how were they able to not charge any fees on the more expensive ticket for the Feral One b2 release?

Not everyone is looking to max out. If I only wanted 6 bottles of each I'd rather buy the ticket that's $5 more expensive and not have to deal with any bottle lines. Alternatively, just poor planning on Firestone's part.

Well rather than simply ask on a beer forum, I figured I'd be a bit more productive and look into that - and then I realized my time is worth more than $5.

That's respectable, I had no intention of bothering with any math until they sent out their email because it made it look more off than prior, even though it actually would make the difference lesser, it just seemed like it would make it more off.

Long story short, I'll have to sell my bottles for a larger markup. (This part was a joke).

Long story short, I'll have to drink 5$ extra worth of beer than the lowly 3&3 Ticket buyers.

Seems like you inflate the value of your time. Anyways, i was pointing out that they have to have some control over the fees if they were able to not charge any fees for the Feral One b2 release. That release it actually made sense to buy the more expensive ticket as if you did the maffs it the price per bottle was actually less than MSRP.

uh? huh? There's no line or anything. It's show up around time of opening and they check you in, you get tons of pours and potential bites and is laid back as ever until you pick up the bottles towards the end.

Firestone events have been the perfection of bottle releases.

Cow Bell and Ago-Ciliegia were big hits for me. Rufus 95 was great too.

Yeah, Ago was so good. There wasn't a bad beer poured. and the food was amazing.

I wasn't into Ago-Ciliegia. I couldn't get past the floral / perfume nose to it. I'm hypersensitive to smell when I eat or drink, and I couldn't get past it.

    I loved the Bravo (271?).
