Except when you go to sporting events it seems. Two years ago I went to the first Isles Penguins playoff game at the Coliseum. It was on a Sunday and the game started at 12. Everyone was inside at 11:30 getting ready for the game but they wouldn't sell beer until 12, when the game started. People were going crazy and the entire place was chanting "Beer! Beer! Beer!". It was quite a scene.

U never heard of "blue laws"? Damn, maybe I'm just old. Anyway, go Isles!

Oh no I've heard of blue laws but just didn't know they were the reason for our Sunday "purge".

    Lets go Isles!

it's funny how I know that...set the wayback machine to June 1992, I was on my way to Buffalo with friends to see the Grateful Dead at Rich Stadium (truckin', up to Buffalo?) and we tried to buy beers for the coolers on our way. NOPE. #denied

So... just saw cans were dropping on Saturday. Any chance they will still be around by next Thursday?

Last time they were out they sold out same day, and after the EBF hype they got I would assume something similar. That said, if you change your mind and bring some degarde with you I'm sure I could save you some

My apologies if this has been covered on one of the first 41 pages...

Does OH update their daily tap list somewhere? Can't seem to find it on website/social media; latest thing I see is Instagram picture of half the board on 4/3. Was going to put an AGE (growler or pre-can) ISO out there, and wanted to see 1) if it's currently on, 2) do they do growlers, and 3) price points.

    Thanks in advance:slight_smile:

They don't consistently update their tap list online. Your best bet is to check Untappd. The regulars will often post photos of the board on Untappd-- and you can see what people are checking in. I was at the taproom last Saturday and AGE was flowing but they only do 32oz fills at the moment. I believe a 32oz fill is $20.

"Green Diamonds can release tomorrow! Doors open at 10am.

    Random info:

Our phone is currently not working so don't try calling. We hope to have it fixed soon.

We are also having problems with our email server so responding to emails is not happening. Sorry. Trying to fix the issue.

We pour 12 different beers in the taproom. Our lineup changes too frequently to list on our website. We are working on another solution so stay tuned.

We do not fill swing top growlers. Only standard screw top 64oz and 32oz growlers. We don't care where they are from as long as you clean them before bringing them to us.

We are sold out of all bottles for a while. We will announce new releases soon.

    We love you! Cheers!"

    Excited for tomorrow's release.

Here's a solution to listing their current on tap beers: Use instragram. Upload photos during the day (takes literally 5 seconds) of the chalkboard. Barrier does this and it is extremely effective. If a beer changes after they put up the list, then that is part of the process. It is really not hard to keep your customers informed of your current beers.

In the age of social media, it really isn't hard to keep people informed.

And I dont want to hear that they only have 2-3 people working a day. Barrier has 2-3 people working a day in a space that is three times the size and constantly keeps their customers updated on their current tap list.

Instagram even has a handy feature where you take the picture, and you can share it with a tap on Facebook and Twitter as well... I want to say it would take under 30 seconds and it would be up on 3 social media outlets.

We can all do each other a favor, take pictures of the board and post on Untappd. Untappd great way to see what is being consumed at a brewery and frequently people do take pictures and post them.

Great thing about OH is there is almost always something great on tap, especially for hop-heads during IPA season so just going there is can't miss.

A cool way some places deal with this is to have a Tap Cam on their website. There's some initial cost, obviously, but then no need to do all of the constant updating.
