Are you preferring Pivo to Sunshine these days?

I guess so. I'll go through my phases, though, so who knows long term. Sunshine is probably more of a 'proper' pilsner, if I had to judge it that way, but Pivo has this really crisp brightness to it that I'm really enjoying now.

I do sense a blind side by side coming on one of these days, maybe I'll even throw Pikeland and Prima into the mix.

With a bit of help you can go for the blind Triangle test and get clearer confirmation of preferences and differences.

But it does take more time, etc.

Another vote for König. Take price into consideration and it's even more impressive - one of the best pilsners is also one of the absolute cheapest here in Sweden.

Monarch from Snake River and Mama's Little Yella from Oskar Blues. We don't get many cans in Casper.

Yup, since last year. They have a rotating "Can-Do" pack with Legacy, Pale, and Summer Pils during Spring/Summer; swapping out the pils for Black Forest during Fall/Winter

The stuff I have had from Old Meck was astounding. You're a lucky man. Do they can their stuff too? Awesome.

To the OP. Bitburger, Nooner, Pivo, Narragansett Bohemian Pils (not their regular lager), the Crisp and Cambridge Brewing Co's Remain in Light (not listed as a pils) are ones I enjoy and can get around her. I also like tallboys of Stiegl- http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/817/43252/ and, even though it's not particularly impressive, Zwiec- http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/623/1666/.

I've been fortunate enough to have cans of Slyfox Pils as well, which I believe @JackHorzempa has discussed the tastiness of.

If I could wave a magic wand, the following would all come in 16 oz. cans: Berkshire Brewing Co. Czech Pils, Sam Adams Noble Pils and Anchor California Lager (also not technically a pils - thanks Jack- but what the hell, magic wands know no bounds).

I do enjoy Sly Fox Pikeland Pils but for some mysterious reason I prefer that beer on draft vs. from the can.

I think we should give credit to Maria (@utopiajane) here since she was the first to post about Pikeland Pils with a smiley face no less.

    Cheers!

P.S. And a small quibble, Anchor California Lager is classified as an American Pale Lager according to BA.

As I was typing, I had the same thought about Anchor's Cali lager, was too lazy to check. Thanks.

Have you had Berkshire Brewing's Czech Pils? http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/33/50166/

You know Jack that smiley face also goes well with saranac's wild hop pils which might be in their "can do" 12 pack.

I've been away from Pils for awhile because I lost interest, but Sixpoint - The Crisp is bringing me back to the style!
