So the 10 official trappist breweries are : Achel Chimay Gregorius Spencer La trappe Zundert Orval Rochefort Westmalle Westvleteren I haven't tried anything from Gregorius, Spencer, or Zundert. So the order id put them in is; Westvleteren Chimay Achel Rochefort La Trappe Westmalle Orval
I like Rochefort the best. Orval and Chimay next. I tried to support Spencer more but it is expensive for what it is and I have had gushers from them on several occasions.
1. Rochefort 2. Chimay 3. Westmalle 4. Orval 5. Westvleteren 6. La Trappe (off the top of my head ... and all six might be tied for my overall No. 1 favorite brewery)

It's tricky. At the moment I'd put Westvleteren at the top of my favorite list, but alas, it's a favorite I can't enjoy. A favorite that many others wouldn't rank too high is Achel. I have some beer from Spencer in the fridge that I'm looking forward to trying for the first time. Trappist beers are beers that I do not have very often.
