Just want to make sure you are aware that the $25 gets you the opportunity to purchase 2 BA beers, at an extra cost. They are not included in the $25. I am not commenting on your post just clarifying in case you misunderstood.

 

I understood all purchased inside were extra, exactly like DLD.

 

People need to absorb the information? One is not purchasing a home or deciding whether or not to get surgery here. If someone needs a few hours to absorb the FB information which was posted in advance of sales, well, perhaps attending this event was never in the cards.

People are not on Facebook 24 hours a day? Yes nor am I and I missed out on tickets. I also got over missing tickets real quickly. Perhaps they should as well. If someone was so dead set on attending the event that their world is crashing now because they cannot go, they should have been on 24 hours a day then monitoring twitter, FB, etc. Lesson for next time.

Purchasing as poorly informed consumer? Again the details were on FB in advance of sales. It took me all of a minute or so to read the details. I don't recall anyone claiming that they caught the FB details in time yet didn't have enough time to digest the information before tickets were sold out. C'mon you are making this more complicated than it was.

Well then what word can I use to sound like a educated, homophilic, urbanite when describing the actions of another person who is essentially acting like a toddler throwing a tantrum for not getting their way and spewing hatred and filth on an Internet forum. I can't think of a better one, so until they grow up and get over this trivial bullshit and realize that supply far exceeds demand, so everyone can't be happy, I'm going to stick to using butthurt.

Agree to disagree. All I'm just saying is "more advanced notice helps consumers" but I understand why they intentionally made it short notice. Seems simple and indisputable but, hey, if you disagree, cool. I'm sure it's gonna be a great time and I ook forward to meeting the people at session 2.

Nice......a lot of emotion and people defending and some upset..............bottom line is that 18th Street Brewery is forgetting that respecting beer is about sharing and Letting as many people as possible to taste their beers, not about marketing strategies and increasing beer sales and profit margins. They never advertised that it would be a ticket event and they knew with the amount of people going to DLD they could increase profits with watching social media and seeing the amount of people that were planning on visiting they created a market for up charging their beers and admission. They obviously stored beer and stock piled for the event.................cause they barely can supply to locals but all of a sudden they have enough for a ticket event..............................I have some nice property for sale in Florida....................if interested

In person ticket sales did not have a scratch off. Unless they give you a scratch off at the door, I assume it was just a troll

I was looking forward to going, but the timing of the ticket sales made me unable to grab any. I can't make it for the public event, so I'll have to miss out. I've only had 18th St stuff once, and really enjoyed the Hunter, which is why I was looking forward to get a shot at some of the BA ones. But, I've got way too much beer at home anyway, and will be able to enjoy that until I get another chance.
