Dark Lord Day (DLD) 2015

Thanks for the heads up. I missed the one year gig, and they did not post much about it.

 

I participated in an 11 year vertical of DL (2004 through 2014) a few months back and the consensus was that the 2005 was the best of the bunch. And, any of the DLs after 2010 were decidedly inferior to those that had some age on them.

I would gladly accept a pour from your bottle if I happen to bump into you....

It is about 8 miles from DLD and one of the closest hotels I could get a room at.

 

Yes, stuff like the map of the festival is released just a day or two before the event.

Band schedules are yet to be announced.

Barrel Aged Variants are yet to be announced.

In years past you did not even know the allotment or price of Dark Lord until the morning of. (Although it usually was an allotment of 4 and a price of $15 a bottle)

 

This is what me and the wife are planning on bringing... Might be interested in a bottle share. Any recommendations?

 

Anyone know if anything is going down at Fairfield Inn saturday night?

 

Was thinking about bringing Hommage b2 and was curious if anyone was planning on bringing a Framboos '14 that might want to open it side by side? Preferably at the Munster Hamptom share on Fri

 

I heard that because three floyds is supporting locks for love as a charity this year, they will be accepting hair donations of 4 in or more in exchange for an extra golden ticket. Neckbeard hair is preferred.

The courtyard between the Fairfield and the residence inn had a share in the conference room. Probably 75 ppl last year. I would assume that's happening again.

 

The only bottle share doc I've seen yet. I'd imagine they are happening at nearly every hotel around.

I'll look for it when we had back to the hotel for the night. Figure half the crew should still be up and ready to go!

 

My friend just backed out on me at last minute and can't find anyone else who can go so I have an extra ticket. Just looking to get the $46 that the ticket cost, not trying to make money or anything. Although if you had a few beers to share I wouldn't mind. My friends and I will be bringing some different random bottles including the Vanilla Bean Dark Lord from last year. Message me or reply here if interested. I have the Group B 12:30 session, but we plan on getting in line between 8:30 and 9:30. You'd have to meet us somewhere since you'll have to go in with me.

 

For those who have been to multiple DLDs, did you notice that the weather impacted the mood of the event?
