CCB Growler Tuesday Thread

Cuvee de Fromm #4 (A blend of Warmer Winter Winter Warmer, Marshal Zhukov's Imperial Stout and Cherry Cordial on bourbon oak) was amazing.

 

When do they announce the coming week's beer? I'll be in town and would like to make it for a fill.

Also, is this at the tasting room...I'm assuming yes?

 

They don't announce until the day of, every Tuesday, at 11-12. If they even announce it at all. Sometimes they don't. Yes, it is at the front bar in the tasting room.

Best bet is to check here. Depending on what is being released, you may want to show up around 11 and put your name on the list. They typically start filling growlers right at noon but there's plenty of beers to keep you occupied for an hour.

As a fellow Texan who travels here for work.. you're in for a treat. Tampa/St Pete is home to some very good beer.

 

I will be in the area in the beginning of may. Thinking of swinging by on May 12th. I can bring some stuff from NJ/PA if people are still doing shares at these.

 

Yeah people do shares. I won't be around, but prepare your liver. Noon Tuesdays get boozy.

 

It's something really good be there at 11. Otherwise 11:30 is probably fine.

 

We usually do a share on Tuesday. Anywhere from 3-7 people sometimes with others randomly joining in.

 

Great. Is it just bring whatever? Or do you plan a theme or something?

 

Theme seems to be consume massive amounts of beer ranging from waelz to trade extras.

Does the nice gentleman that frequents the Tuesday shares and mentioned having excess HF glass come on here? Or does anyone know his contact info? Next week will be the last Tuesday I make before traveling to VT (and basically moving out of state for 3 years), so if I could work out a way to get that glass from him in a gift or loan scenario, that would be great

What time do the shares normally end? Gonna be there this sun-wed and would love to bring a beer or 2 but have a convention that runs 10:30-1 and then 4:30-6 at convention center that tuesday and want to stop by CCB during the break.
