Question: Does the brewpub have bottles for takeout or is it strictly the taproom? Gonna be there this time next month and want to buy all I can. Thinking about snatching up your local homeless and filling their bellies with pints in return for them using my money on the 6 bottles a head a day rule.

But seriously, I plan on taking the wife and kids to the brewpub for a meal and would like to leave with 12 bottles (wife and I). Just want to make sure I plan accordingly if the bottles are strictly at the taproom only.

Thanks for the heads up. Keeping my fingers crossed that BB Oil stays available.

 

They're having a bottle release on May 8th/9th so I wouldn't anticipate finding any BB Oil at the taproom after that. Not saying there won't be any, but there's a good possibility it'll get all snatched up during the release.

 

FYI Lucky's in clintonville has beer brats made with chomo. Delicious.

Any idea when we'll have some more information about the upcoming bottle release? Price, bottle count, tap list, ect....

 

All of the info usually comes out a week before. The allotments will be announced Saturday at the release

 

Really? I remember the details from the last release came out about a month prior to the event. My guess is they are crazy busy with the expansion right now so that's probably why we haven't seen an update yet. I'm sure we'll find out sooner or later.

 

i did not attend the lase release so i am speaking from the older releases

 

They seemed to have info out for the anniversary party earlier than normal. Usually details are announced very close to the event and bottle limits are always announced the morning of (though case counts are released early so you get an idea of what bottle limits may be)

 

Hey all. Quick question. I'm moving from GA to OH in July and I'm really interested in the barrel offerings from JO's. Mainly Rum Oil, and BB Burner. So I was wondering are these one-off or seasonal? If they're seasonal, are we talking brewery/taproom only, whale hunt and trade, or limited but some shelf sightings [around Granville/Columbus]?

Just checking my options before I look into trading for them. Thanks!

 

Seasonal with limited distro. If you're going to be in Columbus, it's a fairly easy drive to the brewery, anyway.

Not many beer share buddies can make it either, so if anyone out there with a wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, sibling, homeless guy you picked up off the street, etc. would be so kind to pickitupformebro a bottle of Dynamo Fuzz, I'd be forever in your debt. I'll pay for the bottle and throw in a Black Note and KBS for your generosity (or something similar like whatever goodies I pick up in GA and Asheville on my way back to OH).

The bottles and tap list were announced well in advance of the Anniversary Party, but then the fire complicated things leading up to the release. (I'd imagine they wanted to be 100% operational and certain of how things would run before having this one, or even making announcements.) I think the draft list was up about 4-5 weeks ahead of time (I looked at old blog entries, and it appears to have posted on 11/11, although I think the dates are mismarked on some of those). Bottles have been partially announced already; prices are usually announced closer to the date. Bottle counts are announced the morning of the event.

Looking forward to seeing the tap list!
