That is not for the Fermentaria, rather the current cafe.

    ---

    Fermentaria's opening beer list:

    HopHands: an American pale ale

    Saison Hands: saison

    Rutilant: IPA

    Shambolic: hoppy spelt saison

    Thesaurus: orange-hued saison

    I'm Sad: a robust coffee/honey porter

    Vaporizer: IPA

    First Kiss: oak saison

Prefer the cafe's taplist at this time, hopefully everyone will pack the fermentaria, the cafe shouldnt be as crowded

Its funny that they call the porter "I"m Sad" Because thats generally how I feel after drinking their porters and stouts.

Yeah, I would have agreed in the past. But, now that Mike LaRosa is there (former Kane head brewer) who brought us all the stunning ANTEAD and variants last year, I wouldn't be too sad anymore.

I would have thought that the opening tap list would have been much more impressive as well and maybe have a surprise keg of one of the bottled favs. But I trust they realize it will be packed either way. Good move on getting the Kane brewer to amp up their dark offerings which have generally been average at best. It will be interesting to see what the crowds are like 2 months out. With summer and people going to shore etc, pretty ballsy opening time.

I should pay closer attention. That is good news. Ipa's, Stouts, and Porters are my thing. I dont dig on most Saisons so mostly TH was a place to get IPA's for me.

Hopefully now they can put out some awesome dark beers

Have you ever tried the shambolic? When I looked at opening tap list it was the stand out to me. If you like IPAs id imagine you falling head over heels for it, at least I did.

Had the Expansive Vestibule and found it fairly ordinary, but it paired relatively well with the candied bacon.

It was actually the brewer before Mike that made ANTEADs and the variants. His name is Matt Czigler and is opening a brewery in north NJ soon. Mike made the awesome variants of morning bell, Sunday Brunch was his creation.

How much actual brewing did they do? Mike's title is "Production Manager," hardly a position that calls for getting down and dirty. The title might not mean anything, but I would think with the new brewery just coming online and now 2 locations to manage, a production manager would have his hands pretty full, er, managing production.

Definitely looking forward to the new location opening, the food sounds pretty awesome (as expected).

Has anyone heard anything further about an advance opening or any kind of event for BC members? Their emails seem to keep finding their way to my spam filter so I'm hoping I didn't miss something.

I doubt it. They specifically sent the Believers Club an email announcing the 4/24 opening. I don't think it's like that they will announce a last-minute soft opening for the Believers for tomorrow night.
