So many cool people share beers in line early. You are also still able to go in when gates open and hit up some of the taps they have in the festival.

 

I have a bottle of 2005 DL. It's so old now I'm afraid to open it.

 

Last week I let Etix know that I had not received my tickets. I got the email back saying to go to ticket resolution. I also saw that it says if you receive your tickets before the 24th you need to notify them or else your tickets will be cancelled. I am flying to Chicago before the 24th, so I won't be home to see if by chance they arrive before then. Is anyone else in the same boat?

Also, I feel kind of weird traveling all the way from Texas to DLD with my confirmation and my credit card in hopes ticket resolution can do something. Has anyone had to go to ticket resolution before? If so, what was the experience like?

It just sucks that I have a flight, hotel and rental car but no physical tickets. I hope they go with a different event ticketing place next year. It seems like it has been a mess for a lot of people.

 

Ticket resolution last year was open before the gates by a couple of hours and went very smoothly. This year, it'll likely be the same tent as the ~1k or so in person tickets that need to be picked up. Good luck with that.

 

I'm in the same boat. No physical tickets yet and have to hope this "ticket resolution" tent BS doesn't turn into the absurd gong show that I'm sure it will.

Of course it didn't help that eTix said they'd mail our tickets on the 6th and then didn't actually mail them until the 13th.

That combined with the envelope fiasco should be enough for 3 Floyds to turf them and find another ticket provider for next year.

 

I have the entire set minus the latest release if you're interested.

 

Do they sell good food and if so are the lines really long? Is it better to just bring my own?

They sell great food, though not very cheap, and unfortunately long lines as everyone is hungry

 

I have been reading references to buying glasses and hot sauce right away. I apologize if I am asking something that has already been discussed, but would anyone mind explaining what this entails? Are these unique or hard to come by?

 

If the toilet paper was Dark Lord branded there would be a race to the porta-johns.

 

I collect hot sauce. If I can get a waxed DLD hot sauce I think my collection is complete.

 

God I love when people post shit like this. I show my wife and it shuts her up for like a week about my beer obsessions! Thanks man! If I get a hot sauce bottle it's yours.

 

I'm curious, what's your favorite hot sauce you've ever tried? That is an insane collection. Nice work.
