Anyone know if this beer going to make it to the east coast? If so, has anyone seen it in the NYC/Long Island area?

I got some in philly last week but I only found one place that had it. I would like more because it is lovely fresh.

Good to know, how do you feel this holds up against the latest Double Trouble or Hoptimum?

Wish we got Ballast Point in upstate NY. That'd be pretty cool.

Where upstate? I know I've seen Sculpin and Big Eye in the Albany area in the past.

Syracuse and Utica areas. 'Tis but a dream, heretofore. Or, y'know. I don't get the feeling it's going to happen anytime soon, but who knows—we did get Firestone Walker, Founders, Pyramid, and a handful of others just in the last year or so.

I'd pay the $12.99 for a bottle if I could locate it nearby.

I had it on tap at either Ginger Man or Rattle n hum last year. Have never seen it in bottles though.

Thank you, I'll check their sites now that I know.

You can also check BeerMenus.com. It's relatively accurate for growler fills since a store will change their selections when a keg kicks. Not so accurate for bottles & cans since very few stores change these on a regular bases or on any basis.

I've tried, it doesn't pop up with any results nearby by location (~50 miles?). Perhaps it hasn't reached us yet, it's a recent release.

    Is it a seasonal release?

I believe it's released less than once a year. I guess that's considered limited release? I know for a fact it was re-released last month.

It is already in a couple places in Philly. One in particular had a ton of singles on Monday. 12.99 at all 3 places I have seen it.
