Sixpoint continuing to kill it. I know they're supposed to be releasing "Tesla", their hoppy wheat lager, in cans too but I'm not sure when. I had Tesla last year on draft and loved it. This gose sounds tasty too, can't wait!

Abigale came out months ago.....if you have not seen it yet in Texas, doubtful that you will this long after it was released....

At least you will have Jammer and Tesla to look forward to (hopefully!)....cheers

It would have been interesting to see the title that Shane (@Sixpoint) would have concocted for the thread discussing the release of Sixpoint Jammer Gose. Maybe it would have been:

    · Don’t duck now, here comes the Gose!!

    · We be jammin’: here comes Jammer Gose!!

    · etc.

    Cheers!

Nice. I love goses & will be crushing this summer, but man do they make me have to shit. probably not a good poolside option for this guy.

I know, 'thanks for sharing', but I can't be the only one.

Have you seen the numbers on IPA beers, could be awhile before that happens...

Spoiled, not so much,.. Soured, maybe.

glad to see this. only gose available in area is Kirsch Gose, and that flew off shelves (Morris County does NOT get AV Blood Orange Gose for some reason).

good on Sixpoint for recognizing there is absolutely a consumer demand for gose's and no brewery has filled that yet (in regard to where I live). if this is as good as most Sixpoint stuff, it will fly off shelves.

other breweries - take note! Victory and Sixpoint know what they're doing with the gose hype train, but i haven't seen any other attempts in this market.

Awesome @Sixpoint - he did say more things were coming in the Abigale thread and this is even better than I expected.
Not only because I love gose (24 and counting) but my wife has an art even here in Brooklyn sponsored by Sixpoint in May.. oh I hope they have it!

The souring process for even a mildly tart gose typically takes longer to brew than a more common style like an IPA. I am guessing these take 2-3 months to condition and the longer time period means higher price point

    Thanks for your input.

There are other ways to brew a Gose other than using bacteria to sour the beer. A method that I would use if I were to homebrew a Gose is to use some Acidulated Malt as part of the grain bill. With this method the beer is done in a manner of a few weeks.

Victory used Acidulated Malt to brew Victory Kirsch Gose: http://www.victorybeer.com/beers/kirsch-gose/

For you homebrewers out there: http://byo.com/stories/item/2349-gose

    Cheers!
