In past years, how easy has it been to re-enter the event? Do you have to wait in the same lines or has there been a re-entry gate? Thanks.

The FAQ says that you get a stamp & wristband upon 1st entry & when you leave & want to re-enter, you go to the EXIT for whichever entrance that you're coming back into & show them your wristband

Was gonna bring a little pop up tent and a camper grill to the festivities. Might not get there till noon though. Where would be the best place to park and am I just stupid to think that I would be able to park even remotely close to the grounds? Not tryin to pick up a PI on Saturday because some guy is pissed im having a few beer's in his companies work lot...

No way you find a parking space nearby at noon unless you get really lucky. Further, depending on what you're thinking, you won't be able to bring a grill or tent inside the gates. Given the weather forecast a member of our group reached out to FFFs regarding whether we could bring in a tailgating tent and they said no.

Interesting. My first DLD so forgive me...I wasnt anticipating brining them inside the gates so to speak but it would be pretty kick ass if i could leave, walk to my car semi-close by and fire up my grill for my buddy (and whomever we meet along the way).

While you can't bring a tent or grill into the grounds, many people set up shop just outside the gates every year, so unless that possibility has changed, you'd have that option.

I'm assuming that like in past years, when you enter to buy your DL, they'll "tear" (but given it's plastic ticket, it's more of "remove") your perforated portion of your ticket, instead of re-scanning it, correct?

clarification on backpacks....if it fits in the milk crate but is taller than the crate, it will be fine.

I would say if it isn't collapsible, it won't be making it in. However, it will depend on which security person you get. Some will give more freedom than others.

Yeah, I'd assume that's why they added perforation, like you said. It seems a little redundant to have to also get a wristband if you leave the grounds, but whatever, I guess.

What about if the milk crate fits in my backpack, or I use a milk crate as a backpack.

Yes, that's too big. And, it's a cooler that doesn't go on your back. So it doesn't matter what size it is, you can't bring in coolers. The rule has been in place since 2011 when people brought in massive coolers and you couldn't walk anywhere. Same thing for chairs. People made these huge circles and it took up too much space.

Afternoon Delight is a good possibilty since it drops next Thursday. I am hoping to score a can or 2 via trade since I can't make it to Indy next Thursday.
