CANBIF Spring 2015 - Hints and Hauls

I was unfortunately not able to make these last round, but am already planning on this years batch

I wouldn't focus too much on what my BA profile says. No smoked beers, but everything else is cool.

My target is quite active on BA, which leads me to a question....

Is there a way to sort through/ search a users reviews to try to make sure I don't send duplicates?

For myself, I have basically no presence as far as wants, gots, and reviews, which could make sending me a tailored box a bit tough. :S

I generally enjoy most styles, however I'm not too fussy about barley wines, heffs, or dunkles.
My favorites are fresh IIPA, saison, farmhouse ales, and big stouts.

 

When looking at their profile, under Stats click Beers. This will show all of their reviews, you can sort by name or brewery but I don't think there is a way to filter/search.

Geez, already got 9 spots filled in the shipper, including 3 wants off my targets list.... am I doing this right????

 

Hint#2: Information in my target's post has me removing a couple beers I'd been saving for this BIF.

Incentive #1: Should my target like this post, I'll make sure that no fewer than 1/3 of the bottles in my box are limited bottling barrel aged beers form my favourite local brewery.

 

Hint 2. This person has likely watched some playoff hockey

 

I feels ya. I had a solid 12 set aside, thinking it was a walk in the park, but looking at my target's cellar, I had to change my game plan big time. Turns out I am sending 25$ of beer and some used self-help books with rather crucial pages missing. Hard to please those that have everything

PS: I may be kidding, or not. My target is east. Waaaaaaays east.

 

This is not going to be helpful to my target but I found it funny that he joined BA on my birthday. My target lives somewhere between Toronto and Tokyo, I'll be back later with a more obvious hint.

Anything good and unticked is fine with me but don't let that stop you from sending anything I have already enjoyed (especially sours and saisons) if it is a standout in your area. I used to use Untappd before that with the same handle (mathieuc) if you need even more data. My favorite styles are saisons and sours/wild ales but I can't think of a style I don't enjoy (except maybe for cream ales) to some extent.

My target is East of me in an area I vacationed in last year.

I don't have the patience to enter and keep current my wants and gots and I don't enter my beers on BA or RB, but I do use Untappd (boney), but you don't really need to check it. I like all styles or beers and I never have a problem drinking a good beer twice. I do love me some sours, lambics and wilds, but I'll enjoy any beer you think is cool.

 

It could even be me if be me if you take the long way from Toronto to Tokyo.
