Anyone have a breakdown on bottle counts for all of this year's variants?

Had Group A tickets and got there at 830. Plenty of parking at Centennial Park at that time. After getting in line at the North Gate, I had my bottles of DL and in the Coffee line within 20 mins. I brought a bunch of Boat Beer from Carton (4.2% ABV) and was really picky with what I tried, but gave pours of Boat to anyonr who wanted it. I was surprised at the generosity of so many people. Made some good friends and met some great people. Found Bourbon BA Dark Lord with no line at the taps next to the big tent and some Hill Farmstead really early, but aside from those didnt really drink too much. Was having too much fun people watching drunkards in the mud. Despite the weather, I had a great time and it was a good experience. I probably wouldn't go back unless I had Group A tickets though.

Overall a great day, best money spent was the $20 on cheap rain suit, looked liked a sumo wrestler, but stayed dry.

Had the biggleswade on tap and was impressed. Did not find anything else that was very special though.

Group was 1/6 on scratchers, we've had great luck every year so it was bound to happen.

    Big Freedia was awesome!

Agreed about the Double Cream Stout, but other than that, there was some ridiculous guest taps. A couple Hill Farmstead, a couple Boneyard, BBPt5, CBS, Marshal Zhukov/variants, Huna and tons of others. Regular Dark Lord and variants were on tap throughout the day. Had brandy barrel aged DL and 2011 vanilla bean on tap. The rain sucked but it definitely kept the tap lines incredibly short. Also, people were buying Vanilla Bean DL for over $200. Of course I struck out on my scratch off for the 4th year in a row otherwise I would've sold the shit out of that beer.

I had a great time at DLD- it is the ultimate people watching experience. This year was particularly enjoyable with all the poncho variants. Most were ill fitting, some were tore and ripped to shreds, some were wearing trash bags or space blankets. Also noticed a lot of bad footwear choices for a lot of poor unsuspecting folks. Weather was bad but I made the best of it and had a blast.

Can anyone give details on the barrels used for the not obvious variants? My understanding is coffee was in cognac but what about cherry & muerte?

I think that might have been me and my husband. Hope you enjoyed the beer! One great thing about the event is the crazy generosity of people. Glad we could share the beer love!

What time did those tap? I didn't see much rotation all day.

I hung out at the guest taps a lot during the day and the rotation definitely wasn't as frequent as years past. This was due to not a lot of people drinking the guest taps for whatever reason. Not sure when the CBS and Huna went on but Hill Farmstead was on for hours it seemed.

Did anyone stay until the very end last night? They tap anything good in the last few hours?

I hate to be "that guy" but I was a little let down by this years batch. Anyone else experience this or have I become one of those cliche "this batch was worse than last batch" guys?

Will BVDL get better with age on it or is it better to be drank fresh?
