Thought it was more appropriate to post here than in the Cellaring forum.... A short video (in German) on traditional Franconian personal Bierkeller (sandstone cellars dug into the side of a hill). I particularly liked the part around the 9:00 min mark about how locals come to the brewery in Doerfleins and fill their own kegs...for 70 cents per liter. So, for 100 Euro you can get yourself 150 liters of fresh-brewed unfiltered Kellerbier: that's my idea of "cellar ****." Prost!

The first 2.5 min and the last part (from 9:20 on) are absolutely classic.

If only my German wasn't so lacking anymore.

I love the filtering system for keg-filling!

Thanks for that video. Very nice. I have been to Brauerei Eichhorn in Dörfleins a few times. Very nice, friendly place (and reachable from Bamberg by bus, or a short taxi ride from Bamberg Bahnhof). I love the bier keller culture!
