I don't think so, but don't know for sure. It looks like the regular bourbon county says 2014 on it. Maybe they used that image as a reference point when comparing it to the new bottle.

Yeah the other one does say 2014, but I just assumed they were saying "this was last year's 12 oz. bottle, here's this year's"

Ha is that really the new bottle? Looks like I am the minority so far but it's pretty ugly if you ask me

I can see people thinking it's ugly, too. I think in a way it is, but that's almost part of the appeal (bourbon bottles can be pretty ugly too, so it's appropriate).

I don't hate that so long as they keep selling them in 4 packs. The bottle is kinda cool.

Well, it has the label on it that was outed previously, and it looks like a little bourbon bottle, so...

    Who knows?

    It's real but it's not 12oz.

Boo! So you're also backing this rumor that they're getting rid of the 12oz bottles?

I'll go as far as to say it's not a rumor. The goal is fewer bottles per person, more people with bottles.

But hoarding is the ENTIRE PURPOSE of these releases!!!!

In all seriousness, I'd prefer 12 oz. BCBS, but as a proponent of cutting down on hoarding, I can live with bigger bottles, for the good of The World.

I would agree. If it made it easier to get whole "sets" i would be fine with getting rid of the 12oz bottles. Although sometimes I really do wish they would say f ever one else and let it flow like water in chicago.

Oh yeah, as a Chicagoan I certainly would be fine with that, but given how dickish the truck-chasers, hoarders, etc. tend to be, it's probably a good move.

And who knows, as I say every year, maybe this, combined with bigger barrel capacity will mean that at some point I'll be able to walk into a Binny's and see BCBS on the shelf (for an hour).

Yeah, the Rare thing worries me. I'm not willing to camp out again (I did it last year, and didn't enjoy it), but I also know myself, and I'm going to lose my mind chasing that shit. Hopefully a higher price point will cut down on demand by at least 0.0001%, and I also hope that it follows the same distribution pattern as the rest of the variants (i.e. not just dedicated craft beer shops).

Yea I personally have thought about reformulating my plan. However if I can wait at 1 shop for 12 hours and guarentee my self a full set. I will gladly do that so that I dont have to go to multiple stores.
