Yes this, Sue was definitely improved over the 3/30 batch, I didn't know if I would be able to ever tell a difference, but we did a tasting of them back to back and the new stuff was great.

Anyone seen Bells Mercury sitting around anywhere? I realize it's likely old now (and not one of the most well regarded Planet Series beers) - but I somehow missed this one when it came out and have all the rest.

Anyone been out to the Nova today? Do they still have Sue or Warrior?

They had quite a bit of both as of 6 last night, but the Beer Cave Fest is today so I'd head there right now to stand a chance of getting some.

They had just brought out 7-10 more cases of each from the cooler when I stopped yesterday morning. I think this batch of sue is tasting delicious. I wasn't impressed with the warrior, I prefer golden nugget over it.

If 22 oz. is "way more than I'd want to drink of any one beer in a sitting" I think you may be doing it wrong!

In all seriousness though, we're talking about a 6% IPA. No one here has even had *gasp* 2 glasses of Furious in a bar? The only thing that sucks about bombers is the price per ounce compared to 12 oz. bottles.

Yeah, I'm with you. Maybe I'm in the minority, but if it's a beer that I really enjoy (like this one), I have no issues drinking an entire growler in an afternoon.

I wish it wasn't so, but I'm a total lightweight. I would probably not feel comfortable driving after two pints of Furious, and three would probably give me a mild hangover the next morning.

If you're on the east side of the metro and/or up for a Hudson run I saw Chicone's had 6'ers with a $1 off sticker on them as of this past Fri evening

Same boat here, makes the hobby a little bit more difficult and I prefer 12oz format for the same reason. Solidarity!

Looks like maybe 16.9 oz? But still. That really effs some shit up. They better not be charging $20/bottle.

For those still hunting for KBS, MGM Woodbury (mentioned previously in this thread) has around a case of it. $7.99 each and no posted bottle limit.

Also around a case of Saturn - $2.49 each.

Also spotted Silva, Love Child #5, Pentagram, among others.

There is ongoing discussion of this over in the Great Lakes forum. Nothing appears certain yet, but there have been some posts showing new labels/bottle designs. Label said 25oz but then someone said they heard 16.9 oz but then what appears to be some sort of promotional poster seems to show a different style of 12oz bottle. I for one am shocked at the rampant speculation as I've never known that to occur on BA, and especially not about bourbon county products
