Most beer from the Boston Beer Company is brewed in Cincinnati. I hold it against them.

You mean to tell me it's not hand brewed by the stereotypical bald bearded guy in the ads who has way too much time to goof off when he should be brewing? PFFFFTTT Whatevas!

I know...it drives me crazy though, I want to root for the home team but I can't!

There's WAY better home teams to root for, not to take anything away from Sam's accomplishments.

I am going to echo several things already said:

    Lack of bottling dates
Hype making good beers into whalez
    Waxed bottles
American versions of Belgian beers that cost more and are not as good as the Belgian equivalents
    Long lines for beer
    Short lines for beer
    ANY line for beer
Festivals that cost more than $40.00
Hipsters jumping on the craft bandwagon
    Crowdfunding

Breweries that prohibit filling a growler unless it is sold by them.

Amazing "Special Edition" limited run beers from breweries that normally put out garbage. You clearly have the ability to make something great, so... Why not do so always?

This is actually a law here in california. They are pre-approved to fill their growlers with their art work. If they fill another breweries growler they can only do it if the logo and writing is all covered up. It's lame but it is a law.

I'm not saying they offer crap, but MBC makes a lot of beers that are very mediocre while keeping their good beers - Another One and to a lesser extent, Lunch - in limited distro and Dinner as an extreme rarity. Almost everything else they have is not worth it, but they sell because of the name.

Quite a bit of it is also brewed at their brewery near Easton, Pennsylvania (formerly a Schaefer plant).
I don't hold it against them...that makes Boston Lager a local product for me!

Underestimating beers - at least by hype or talk on the forums - that happen to be available at your local store and well made. IE, they are not "whalez", just very good beers.

Not wanting to be a dick and show off but just bought both these less than 1 month old in the UK in a supermarket that seems to now be stocking it consistently. Something way wrong at your end mate!

It makes me put on weight.

And my GF won't kiss me if I smell like beer.

(like the double-whammy... OK... I hate beer... no wait, I like beer... ah, I'm so conflicted)

It happens to me pretty regularly; I order something like an IPA and get a Stout. I had a bartender once argue with me for at least 10 minutes that the triple or saison she gave me was the quad I ordered.
