Available year round is Old Raspy
Seasonal is either Ten Fidy, or Founders Imperial Stout. I go back and forth between those two and have a hard time picking a favorite. FBS is my favorite drink anytime stout that doesn't get you half blitzed with one glass:wink:

I saw one above, but I'm surprised that Deschutes Obsidian Stout isn't getting more love on this thread. Amazing beer and cheap as hell

So, in other words, the question is what's your favorite year-round stout.

My favorites are, in no particular order:

    Stone Russian Imperial
    Ten Fidy
    Founders Imperial
    Sam Smith Organic Chocolate

For those that love coconut, as do I, Dragon's Milk

Plead the 5th and Ten Fidy. I know VAS is a porter but it scratches that itch as well as the others.

Sticking with the year round theme of the OP, I would say Lion Stout, Dragons Milk, and Left Hand Milk Stout, are all pretty tasty.

Ill second Barney Flats, it was the first time I ever had a stout on the lower abv spectrum with a good amount 'mouthfeel' (God I'll never be able to say that word and not laugh at myself).

Don't know if it's still made, I believe 2015 is the final year of it but Widmer Brothers raspberry imperial stout is excellent, only available in the 22 Oz though.

I have to go with Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout. In this area, the beer supplies were very light unless you wanted the usual offenders, Bud, Miller, Coors. Finally a few of the local liquor stores have started carrying a fair selection.

For me it would be a tie between Picaroons Timber Hog (Fredericton, New Brunswick) and Garrison Martello (Halifax, Nova Scotia). I tend to go for Timber Hog because I can get it extremely fresh but both are my favourite, readily available stouts.
