After two hoppy Pils, might as well put my palate into submission. First time trying this from Otter Creek.

Photo is more attractive than reality. Quite disgusting; I like my IPAs hazy, not full of perceived backwash. Nice aroma, some melon and tangerine but also orange marmalade as well. Was expecting more aggressive mouthful but rather surprised; bitter, yes but not crushing. Some melon on the tongue but moreso orange and pine. Not much sweetness on aftertaste, either. Good beer for satisfying IPA craving.

My last of these too, and even though the maltiness is taking over, this is still great.

Definitely my top two are the BC and CW. Just had in laws mule me two 4 packs of CW to michigan and even with 12 bottles left I feel like I don't have enough to make it until next release. It is absolute caramel goodness! Having a satin solitude right now which seems pretty average, but solid. I'd put it a notch below Founders Porter which I will have next.

Definitely. Bonus is the 12 packs (single and variety) are typically priced aggressively in CT, similar to Sierra stuff.

    Reviews:

Really tasty spiced pale wheat ale. Aromas are muted but nice and balanced. Aromas and flavors of lemon, orange, black tea, wheat, biscuit, and light honey; with some herbal/grassy hop and yeast earthiness. Minimal herbal/spice bitterness on the finish. Good robust and balanced flavors of malt and lemon peel/tea flavors. Light-medium bodied; very smooth and crisp finish with a slight bit of wheat creaminess. Very refreshing.

Awesome IPL! Fantastic appearance with lasting head and dense lacing down the glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, apricot, lemon/orange peel, and pine; with some light-moderate cracker/bready malt and herbal/grassy hop earthiness. Nice sized pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish. Awesome hop complexity with a very crisp and sticky finish. Very hop forward yet not astringently bitter from hops; despite the lighter load of malt character. Extremely clean as well with zero yeast notes present. Delicious.

Really nice Saison. Aromas and flavors of lightly tart lemon, lime, mango, passion fruit, white grape, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Moderate yeast spiciness on the finish with light-moderate fruity/yeasty tartness. Very smooth and crisp finish; lighter on the malt flavors with nice robust yeast and fruit juice flavors with good balance. Really well done.
