    Interestingly enough the ONLY beer (so far) that I prefer to drink directly from the can (or bottle) is Anderson Valley Gose. I like it out of a glass too of course but for some reason I find it to be best right out of the can So far the two Kirsch Gose's ive had were in a glass, so I will have to experiment tonight. I wonder what the verdict on Jammer will be. Either way I may need that can glass.

    I just placed my order for my glassware.
    Now I have to wait for Jammer to hit NJ and find more Abigale to fill my new chalice with.

    Smart man! Ordering in 'bulk' helps to 'defray' shipping costs.

    FWIW, I am of the opinion that the can shaped glass actually benefits certain beer styles. I personally drink beers like moderately hopped ales (e.g., Sweet Action), Stouts, Porters, ... from my can shaped glass. I have no scientific explanation for this but my guess is that the slight inward slanting top accentuates certain flavors/aromas.

    You will have to report back your impressions for the sweet looking Sixpoint can shaped glass for the beers you drink.

    Cheers!

    The best bottle shop I know in my neck of the woods is expecting this on Monday, so I'll give it a whirl shortly after!

    I tried the Victory Kirsch in the meantime, and I find myself agreeing with the others who found it a little lacking - the emphasis was on tartness, with not much salinity. I'm a fan of the Anderson Valley goses, and I'm looking forward to this one.

    @BeerVikingSailor @JackHorzempa

    I'd say the emphasis on this beer is not on the sour or the salt or the spice - but rather all three. Also, as we mentioned before, we wanted to beer to look beautiful because drinking a great Gose style in the right glassware is a sensational delight!

    Don't expect a sour bomb, or a spice bomb, or a salt bomb - but rather a balanced, tart, properly spiced and deliciously salted beer that is endlessly crushable.

    "It smell like being at the beach"

    Actual quote from a staff member who tried it for the first time at this morning's tasting at our wholesaler!
