Hmm...good thread but I was almost expecting a 'how much weight I've gained since I started drinking craft exclusively for 30 days Kinda thing.

On black Friday a local place was serving BCBS in pint glasses. Way too much for that strong of a beer. Good thing I wasn't driving...

I feel ya. If the place has a great selection, I want to try as many different things as I can in one visit, meaning smaller pours. However, if the only good beer that's on is Loose Cannon and I can get a 22 oz. pour, bring it.

I have seen Backwoods Bastard at a local concert hall. It was $13 for 25 oz. All other craft offerings were $10 for 25 oz. Considering the premium on all draft beer there, the price seemed more than reasonable for that size pour.

The best deal I ever got was at our local Buffalo Wild Wings before I started working for Weasel Boy. They had Anastasia on tap, and a large draft (24oz, I think) was 6 bucks. 8% ABV RIS plus that size = wife drove home.

At a local sports bar I used to work at we had a 16oz PBR tall can and a shot of Jack Daniels for $3.

I still call for some 40oz bottles of the stuff that's not high in abv. I think a pilsner, hefe or APA would work great. Yes, I'm aware of all the pitfalls and putting beer in 40oz bottles and I don't give a crap either.

Hearing about specials on craft beer shows it has become mainline popular. You usually see the specials on the best sellers to bring people in. Craft has arrived.
