yea, i planned on getting there late friday/early saturday and i can not stay on saturDAY, so was hoping to get a lil boozing in before it opened. but i got it now... and cash only makes things go soooooo much faster!

 

I reserved a room at a local hotel a month ago and they are sold out now. I sure hope that all 170 rooms aren't for the release hahaahaha. I'm looking forward to heading up Friday night and hanging out at the bar. This is my first release, so I hope all of the previous threads hold true for this one in terms of arrival times and heads in line. Supposedly people who showed up at 11 am last year still got bottles I wouldn't chance showing up that late, but I'm not getting in line at 5 am either.

 

People will be in line by 5am but not 400 that's for sure.

I got a hotel room across the street from Bullfrog, literally yesterday.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't remember anyone showing up right at 11 last time. I think I showed up around 10 and got bottles. There were people in line after me but not more than about 15. I think a handful of people were able to go through the line a 2nd time and get another whole allotment.

 

Was there a line reservation package?

Yeah, I was able to go back through the line. They were letting you purchase any 3 bottles at that point. By the time I got up there only Druiven were left, so I took 3 more of them. Worked for me, it was my favorite of the three.

 

I think almost anyone who wanted to was able to go through the line a second time. There might have even been a few that towards the front that were able to go threw a third time. I hesitated to get back in line for a second go around and then decided it was ok after I saw that everyone who was there got allotments at least once.

 

This all sounds wonderful and is most certainly reassuring! I realize we have no idea who will show up, but I'd love 2 shots at these awesome beers! I got a room with 2 beds thinking one of my 10 craft buddies would go, but none could make it. I'll just view this as an awesome solo craft beer adventure! I'm 3 hours away from Williamsport, but can't wait to get on the road! Thanks for the reco ClockworkOrange!

 

I got about the same distance to drive, and am most likely flying solo unless @Mfbda1daonly decides to stop being lazy .

There were people that went through the line 3 times, although the 3rd time they only got Druiven. I'm planning to show up at 9 a.m. this time.

 

Also traveling 3 hours solo to get these. Seems to be a thing.

 

Doors open at 9AM this time vs. 11AM last time.
