Possibly. It would get me down there more than I have been and think its applicable for some people but not all.

Even if it was quarterly pick ups I would probably do it and that would get me down there 4 more times than I've been in the past year. Regardless, its a moot point because other then making it more convenient for out of town people I don't think there is any financial incentive for them. It's not like they need the money ahead of time or are having problems selling what they have.

So how about those MEMBERSHIP CLUBS? j/k j/k j/k j/k

It may increase a very small percentage of the people to go more - but it would cause A LOT more locals and regional people not to go nearly as much.

Either way, we all know it won't happen. They rather have the weekly local crowds who fill up the place than make it easier for the people who rarely come to get bottles. But, I understand why you would want it that way - and I don't blame you if I did not live in Austin.

Boxer's has been $16 at JK since JK started doing it as a brewery release.

I personally just want July..August..and September. These seem to be my favorite JK months.

I felt like it used to be cheaper, but you are correct. With all the recent barrel aged stuff, the trips are hard on the old wallet

Negative. May be the best months for beer but the worst months for visiting unless you enjoy sitting outside in 100+ degree heat simmering in you're own sweat.

I personally like my beers being in that heat while I enjoy sweating.

Heat sucks. But I'm talking about the releases. I can hang in the heat under the barn .. it adds a little extra funk to my beer.

Come on days they have new releases, the rain helps with the heat.

Welll distrubuting wouldn't work because of the small quantities produced anyway.
Just trying to propose some solutions instead of bitching and whining about not being able to get JK in Dallas. The membership thing seems to work well with wineries so why can't it work with JK?

Because all it helps are out of town people who are not the people who pay the bills.

Out of town people could be helping you pay the bills that was the whole point of what I just wrote. Oh well, like I said it's a just a suggestion.. They can keep doing what they're doing for all I care. Just a suggestion I'm throwing out there.

You weren't here for the threads we've already had on this subject. Let's just say it's a fruitless conversation to begin. Most importantly JK has already said that will never happen. Honestly there's new breweries coming to TX and brew pubs in Dallas that will cover that base for us.

Out of towners want a club, locals don't. JK is selling all their beer extremely quickly, so they don't need it.

    That's it.

Boxers Revenge is awesome. Looks like I'll be coming up to get me some next weekend.

You know how to get JK to distribute (which they already do)? Go to the brewery, pay your $16-$20 per bottle plus some drinks on tap and funnel more money into the brewery so they can expand and brew bigger batches. Ambree, Provenance, Dichotomous, all have seen distro. Just be patient until batches of Boxer's and Funk metal are big enough to be distributed. If you want you 500ml rar whalez, you'll have to make the trip.

Technically if you didn't buy any bottles from the brewery they would be forced to distribute to clear out space.
