    if it's from FW and it comes in a box, i'm buying it. end of story.

    i got one bottle last year, tasted it, then ran back to get more.

    i bought a few bottles here in DC last year. i'm certainly hopeful that this year's batch gets east coast distribution again.

    Sounds like they took the approach of Belgian fermentables (candi sugar) and potentially grain bill that is fermented with the house British ale strain. Resulting in a really rich malt profile that is typical of a Quad without the yeasty flavor profile that defines Belgian styles.

    The World of Beer in Baltimore is having a FW tap spotlight on 4/22 and they just announced that the "special limited" tap they have been advertising will be Monkee

    Passed this up last year but I plan on picking up a few bottles I love Firestone Walker's Barrel Aged beers.

    Probably my favorite beer from FW and one of my top 5 barrel aged beers of all time. I definitely want more.

    i absolutely love this beer, barrel aged quads are one of my favorite styles and this is a superb example of one. it is a tad sweet but i don't think that's a bad thing, i think that makes it a sipper and an outstanding after-dinner beer. If it hits distro i will happily buy one, not sure if i'd trade for it again, but i never really trade for the same beer twice.

    Had this for the first time a few weeks ago and oh god did I love it. Will be seeking this guy out when it hits Chicago.

    One of my favorite beers of last year. Drank it while watching The Wolf of Wall Street. Drinking decadence while watching decadence. I think Avery 5 Monks and OB Disastrous Molasses have some similar flavor characteristics to Stickee. Psyched to pick some up again this year!
