Parabola release info

14 is around $45 13 is $50
I haven't seen the 13 there until the other day, so I'm not sure if they got them from FW or had some squirreled away in the back.

 

I'm not sure what it is. Maybe Seattle has an extremely low per capita concentration of beer geeks. Maybe people here just don't go after the hyped beers like they do elsewhere. But it sure seems like the beers that are distributed here hang around longer than just about anywhere else. I feel for the places where you have to scramble and scrape to find some of these releases, but it sure is sweet to be in this situation—and I hope it doesn't change.

 

Still no where to be found in MD either

 

Parabola came and went in Buffalo. I think only a few cases came to the whole market though

 

Not at all in LA. I saw it at stores for a long time. It was at Total Wine for weeks. Cases of it was stacked up at Vendome as recently as 2 weeks ago. I bought it on 5 different occasions. Hit 3 bars with taps also. Not bragging, just reporting

 

Much less at only $11.99; Can't believe I only bought one. . . and there was 4.5 cases of it. Mind was a little preoccupied with Row 2 & Buffalo Trace Experimental 1991 & 93 barrels/bottles I guess.

 

Wonderful. Oh well. Have 1 left.

The 2 stores I frequent haven't gotten any yet.
They each promised to hold a bottle for me.
It is possible that they don't get any.

 

I was in SD for ComicCon this weekend, and got a bottle at a bar (The Lincoln Room) but didnt see it at any stores either. Sad, as I wanted to bring some home.

Right. It's still available at pubs and the like for on-site consumption, at roughly 100% markup.

 

Wine World in East Brunswick, New Jersey got some and as far as I know still may have some. It is not on the shelves though, you have to ask for it which is also a definite suggestion for other liquor stores as well. If they have a decent craft beer selection it is worth a shot to ask an employee if they have Parabola (or any other hard to find beers as well.) You may get a look as if you have seven heads because the employee has NO idea what you are talking about, but it is worth it for the chance that they'll say yes!

Hope this may help some of you out a little. Trust me, my treasure hunt isn't over yet either. I've got one bottle from the new batch now and would LOVE to get at least one of two more!

as of July 1 the FW tasting room fridge was filled to capacity with parabola. no one was tripping over themselves to buy it all....

 

Whole foods on fairfax/3rd has cases. Call your local wf buyer

 

Cases of it still around my parts.

 

Still 4 cases at the bottle barn as of this afternoon. $12, that was a nice surprise. My buddy got some at State Line in MD last week, but he had to ask, as it was behind the counter.

 

My local alehouse had it on tap for $5 for an 8 ounce tulip. At $15 for a bomber in the store, on tap was a steal.

 

And where might this local alehouse be?

 

FWIW, there's enough Parabola in Portland to fill a swimming pool, so if you can find a local trader (not me, sorry) you shouldn't have any trouble trading it $4$ for shelf beers that aren't available here.
