i am in San Diego (El Cajon) for a few days and would love to try a Parabola. Does anyone know if it is on tap somewhere or if any bottle shops have any?
It is not on tap anywhere as far as I know, and it has been weeks since I've even heard rumors of it still being around somewhere. You might be able to find it at one of the places that really mark it up in price (e.g. Del Mesa Liquor), but I've not even heard of those place still having it around.
Yeah sorry bro, you might have missed the window. A couples place were tapping maybe 2-3 weeks ago. Parabola time is over sadly FW is probably gearing up for stikee monkee release now.
The first time I saw the term "IP trade", I thought to myself "what the hell does trading beer have to do with intellectual property?" Duh.
ALWAYS bring beer. I can't tell you how many IP trades I've been able to sort out...even if its just with a bartender at a brewery.
Right now, I don't know of anyone who has it on tap. Surfside Taproom in Oceanside will have it on tap. As far as bottles, most places sold out immediately. Only place I can think of that might have it is Lenas Liquor in Escondido but they wanted something like $24 a bottle.

Saw a bottle still on the shelf at my local liquor store (Fallbrook Liquor). Sometimes it's nice to live a little off the beaten path.
