Prices are based on case cost. Most that are available in Massachusetts are imports. Others are limited releases like Weyerbacher Riserva. I won't lie, our company charges, on average, a 30% mark up.
So it's a combination of our policy (corporate) and brewers/distributors prices.

and that's totally reasonable and in-line with typical MA margins....each state is different!

Snagged a case today. I don't normally buy cases and the last one was actually Anderson Valley Gose last summer, so I thought it would be appropriate for the next one to be Jammer. Only had one so far, but I can definitely say I don't regret buying a case. Hopefully this will be around all summer.

Picked up a 6er yesterday for $9.99. It is extremely crushable and quite good. Not as sour as I was expecting (I had Westbrook's Gose in my mind) more in line with a traditional gose (not as sour as some american versions).

I've seen a few people on Untappd and now on here say its more like a traditional gose in that its not sour. What traditional goses are you comparing it to? Everything I've read about the style says that its alway been sour, and honestly how many traditional goses are available in the American market? Are you guys sure that German goses were not historically sour, or are you just assuming that American versions are more sour because that's how Americans tend to do everything?

    how did it go? @BeerTruth

    it should be!

it was done that way intentionally - no need to bust out the Rolaids after drinking your beer

Pretty much, people around here need to have more sour, more roasted, more hoppy, more bitter, etc. The original, which was usually based off finesse, is amplified in the American versions.

We found that most people don't want to drink a pint of lactic acid - they'd rather have a crushable beer. Enter JAAAAAAAAAMEEEER.

YUP! @CleanFiend can help you out

let us know how it Gose! ;-) @SixpointJMH

It went REALLY well. Just had my second of the night and it was even better than the first.

The Untappd check ins are sort of driving me insane. A bunch of know-it-alls who can't enjoy a beer unless it's sour enough to give them heartburn. This has a great mixture of salt and coriander and just a hint of tart. Refreshing and so drinkable. Going to head back to the store tomorrow and buy a couple more six packs.

Thanks for making this great Gose in six packs for $10, Sixpoint. Eager to get my Jammer glass and drink it properly
