Bruery 2015 RS/HS Allocations

    They're the reason I don't head down to the Bruery much any more but since they're so close to me it's hard to get excited. I'm actually heading there (as soon as I finish this post) after I finish deliveries, the goal is always to get there at 5pm as my last delivery stop on Wednesdays.

    Early bottles of Cherry ****z I had were excellent; Slow Moves is good, not spectacular, may be funkier now; and Whoa Nelly is new but I'm definitely excited about it. Bob has been making some great IPA/DIPAs lately.

    But seriously, it depends on the brewery. TRB last year had a minimum 20-30 minute wait at almost the entire day (and forget about when they released their pony keg of fields forever. Most of the time however it was pretty quick to get a pour.

    Now that I'm typing that, I think we would be doing everyone a favor by getting rid of all of TRB beer before RS gets inside. The lines will go much smoother for everyone. We will take one for the team guys!

    The way I see it, there are plenty of beers I have yet to try and an entire day to try them after devouring some good bbq (which I have also never tried but you guys talk it up a lot so I am excited about that). Worst case TRB kicks...meh...turn around and throw a rock in any various direction and you are bound to find more good beer to try.

    Plus, now I know exactly where JoshBeerNow will be....standing in that TRB line drinking super fast wearing a ducks hat and jersey and I can avoid him and openly mock the ducks from afar. It's a win-win (except for the ducks).

    WRONG! It will be WAY too hot to be wear a jersey. :wink:

    Also, not to ruin your bubble, but IMO, the BBQ they provided last year was sub par. Really a bummer. Hopefully this year they do a better job.

    Speaking of, we really should all meet up. I'm going this weekend for another even and Matt said he would be there. If I run into him I'll ask about the setup and see if I can find us a good spot to meet.

    Oh, you mean that whopping 1 1/2 oz serving of meat and the teaspoon fulls of beans and potatoes?
    Yeah, that really helped soak up all those 18% stouts I was drinking.
