Other Half Brewing

We just had our friends from the great state of Maine, @bunkerbrewing , here for a collab. Boogie Board Stuntz a kolsch brewed with some Maine oats, Mandarina Bavaria and Mosaic hops. Coming in a few weeks.

I can't wait to try this one. My buddy and I were talking about making a dry-hopped kolsch with Mandarina Bavaria a few months ago. Looks like they had our phones tapped during that conversation...

 

I particularly like that they are instagramming from in front of the McDonald's now.

 

"It's finally here!!! Installing our 30 bbl foudre today! This was holding Super Tuscan in a winery in Tuscany before coming to us."

 

These dudes are already making killer beers. I can only imagine what type of stuff they'll be putting out in 2-3 years from now.

 

The owner of that McDonalds franchise is going to be a multimillionaire.

 

They've run out of space in the brewery.

From OH customers? I don't know about that.

What they need is a food truck.

 

Brooklyn Burro shows up every now and again, I think every 4th Saturday, make great Mexican food.

You greatly underestimate the power of a buzzed McMuffin *literally* across the street.

 

You should stop in at Court St Grocers if you haven't already. Excellent sandwiches just a few block up on Court.

 

I'm heading to the MoMA on Saturday. Are Rattle N Hum and Gingerman my two best chances to get Other Half in that part of NYC? I've had Green Diamonds at RNH before and it looks like a few of theirs are on at Gingerman right now, but I'm curious if there's anything else in walking distance (bars/shops) that might have them. We won't have time to venture much further than the immediate area. Thanks!

I wish Beer Menus had a way to show a list of all beers on tap in an area from a brewery in one search. Now you have to look it up at the beer level. With a brewery that has pages and pages of beers, impossible to go through all of those pages.

This helps, would be nice if under each beer they listed the places that had it. Or an option to list out each place that had a OH beer and the list of beers.

Helpful site though in general. Just can use some better searching and more options for reporting.

I agree. Beermenus is very helpful, but could use some personalization features. "My Feed" only goes so far. I'd like to have a sidebar with my favorite bars.

 

Has anyone had the Mosaic IPA? It looks like Owl Farm and Bierkraft have it on tap (according to Untappd).
