Twin Cities Bottle Hunt

Has this been available on tap before? Anyone tried it? It sounds interesting but I'm hesitant to blindly buy bottles like this. Especially when I imagine they'll be at least $15 each...

 

Can't vouch for it ever being on tap but if it's anything close to their Cacao Porter it's gonna be a star in the making.

 

We just finished bottling Starkeller last week. We'll give it a month to bottle condition before we do our first round of sensory on it. So, give it some time yet, but it has been packaged.

Sounds like Schell's Hefeweizen is already hitting the shelves this year!!! Anyone see it in 12 packs yet? Preferably in the SE metro or Mpls/St Paul. I drink so much of this that it's much more economical in the 12pk format vs cases of 6 packs!

 

I'm gonna try to hit up Enki at release time.

This sounds very light on barrel flavor at 7.5% and you can't sample before buying.

FWIW I had Enki Mocha Porter on tap at the beginning of February, and I thought it was phenomenal - by far the best offering at the time. If I'm being honest, though, I'm not really sure how a bourbon barrel would improve it, but that might just be me.

 

So which brave soul is going to open a BB Mocha Porter in the parking lot so the rest of us can decide if it's worth buying?
