Not Your Fathers Root Beer

Hey ZZ Top, have you tried this root beer concoction? Likey? No like?

 

It literally tastes like root beer. Not a brown ale with spices, quad w/ spices, etc. If you like root beer/sarsaparilla, especially the small-batch kind, you will like this. I can't imagine have more than two on a given night though.

 

OK, thanks. So it's a one and done. I think I'll pass. Seems like a gimmick beer, much like Grapefruit Sculpin.

 

Yeah but grapefruit sculpin is delicious and so is this beer

 

I think this stuff is very tasty, but on the other hand I'm not sure why to buy it instead of plain ol' good root beer.

 

IfI find it, I'll give it a go. But grapefruit Sculpin was definitely artificial tasting to me. Regular Sculpin, and even Flower Power and Two Hearted are MUCH better representatives of what an IPA should be like..... To me.

 

I like it. It is sweet, so it's not something I imagine myself having much of in one sitting, but for one or two at a time it's delicious for what it is.
