NC - TRIANGLE upcoming releases

Ridgewood put them out as soon as they opened today and posted it as well. I haven't been anywhere else I just assumed other places got it as well.

 

What JK bottles are people seeing? Sams said that they only got 3 bottles of several of the beers that were released. Passed on the one that I saw (a mild farmhouse?).

Total Wine in Cary is selling Sexual Chocolate today, it's one per person.

I bought a GF Silva Stout from Sam's, and it was a total diacetyl bomb. No flavor other than butter. Avoid it.

 

On tap? My girlfriend ordered one there on Saturday and I tried some of hers. I thought it was fantastic.

 

Bottles. I've heard from a few people that theirs were infected.

The Beerists had this one on a recent podcast and had the same problem

 

It's really frustrating to spend $18 or so on an infected beer, but there's not much I can do. I shot Green Flash an email, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for a response. Based on reviews, it seems like not all bottles have been bad. Mine was bottled 16 February 2015, for anyone who's concerned.

 

I bought a bottle of the Silva stout after trying it on tap at Sam's earlier this week as well. Odds are it came from the same case as yours so I'm not too optimistic. I'll report back after I crack it open later this week.

 

It's kinda cool to see who listen's to that podcast. Mike's opinion of the beer was kinda hilarious. We don't get GF in Kansas (just moved about 2 months ago from NC) so I didn't get the chance to try it myself, but holy shit was he hating on that beer.
