    Anyone have experience with these?

Looks interesting, and I happen to be in town. What is the beer selection typically?

Though if the food is recommended I could likely not care about the beer (especially since Hamilton's is on the other side of the block.

Well, Brandon Hernandez (definitely one of the better-known food/beer critics in SD) seemed to like the first one: http://www.westcoastersd.com/2012/06/06/plates-pints-going-whole-hog/ The beer list wasn’t anything notably rare, but then again you’re also paying to have an expert pair up the flavors – I did this Beer & Cheese event at Stone, and by a long shot the most surprising part was seeing how much the Cali-Belgique completely changed when drinking by itself versus drinking right after eating the goats milk cheese. That was the most pedestrian beer of the flight and one of the most mild cheeses, yet it was the one pairing that stuck with me the most.

I wanted to go to this upcoming Quarterly, but unfortunately I’ve got some other things to deal with on Tuesday.

the food at alchemy is PHENOMENAL. ricardo is a rad chef, and he loves hamiltons, and blair loves alchemy. so it only makes sense to have the quarterly

although i will never attend since im a vegetarian, im very sad about that!

I'd be very sad about that too.
