    I bought these based on BA ratings. I don't get it. Thin. Little barrel. So far based on the 12 and 16 year versions of this these are the biggest disappointments I've ever had.

    Comparing the reigning world champ against the local legend! One night only!

    Both are from 2013.

    3 Philosophers: Sweet upfront, plums and raisins, a little tart, perhaps from the Kriek, at the end. A little chocolate in the mix. Head retention was better.

    Westy 12: Much drier, no plum but some raisin and other dried fruits, alcohol warmth, not burn, way better mouthfeel, so creamy.
