Just enjoyed my first ever pour of BB Blackout Stout at Barrel and Bottle. Get over there if you can, such a great beer and great folks!

It is ridiculously good. Surprised they're putting it on tap now? It came out in December?

To lump that into a beer convo... Had my first 'Chicago Pale Ale' tonight (Actually says that on the can)... Didn't even think about it. Maybe I cursed them.

Anyway, Revolution 'Fist City' Pale Ale was actually the stand out of many APA's tonight. Came in a can, while it wasn't amazing. It was a pleasant surprise from an otherwise 'run of the mill' brewery . ***Like everything else in Chicago*
Has a nice blend of 'Citra~Centennial~Cascade~Crystal~ Hops (also on can) Lets face it, whether you're from CHI or CLE... We can all agree them 'C" hops are where its at!

Citra High is great. I don't usually have many "repeat" buys since I like to try new beers all the time, but I bought three 4 packs of the stuff. It's worth it. Fist City is really good too.

They coordinated it for beer week. They also held their case of BA Bigfoot and some BB Jackie O's stuff to sell yesterday to make it a Barrel Aged theme event.

My brother and I showed up around 4:15 and there was literally no one drinking BA Blackout. We were there for an hour or so and only a few people were there drinking it. One of the young ladies working there let us get a second pour although she stated there was a one pour limit. Very cool, but sadly it was a result of lack of business. Hopefully a lot more people made it out there to try it. I was also lucky enough to snag what looked to be their last bottle of BA Oil and a four pack of Citra High. I've always loved Barrel and Bottle, but don't make it there nearly enough.

I know Hebrew Bock Bock hit parts of OH a week or so ago but has anyone seen it in NE Ohio. Close to Akron maybe?

    Thanks and Cheers!

Did anyone get to try Seventh Son's Double IPA that was on at Bodega Monday night? I got a glass of that and the pin of their pale ale both were outstanding.

Lucky Owl bottled a 22oz Red Ale. Available at Chuck's in Chagrin. IPA is available on tap at Burntwood I believe.

Haven't seen any mention of the new Fat Heads sour 'Day Glow' yet. Anyone try it? I hadn't even heard of its existence until I checked the tap list online.

Going to be driving through Cincy (and Columbus) on Wednesday, is there any Citra High still hanging around?

The cans flew off the shelves here in Cincy. MadTree opens at noon on Wednesdays...growler fill might be your best bet.
