Haven't found a favorite "session IPA" yet - but I will be looking.

I favor the hoppiness of the IPA. I used to think putting fruit (and other non-traditional beer-making ingredients) was blasphemous, but have recently tasted two grapefruit-flavored beers - and I like them.

I have heard of a couple grapefruit IPA's, but have yet to find one up here (Seattle). And, a grapefruit RYE IPA too.

But, a grapefruit session IPA... WHOA... That should keep me out in the yard this summer. (I know it's out there - I just have to find one.)

Otter Creek Over Easy really impressed me... significantly more mouthfeel than any other session IPA, and really intense hop aroma. I'd do a few of those.

Boulevard Pop Up IPA cans. Better than Stone and Founders session IPAs in my opinion. Check it out.

Absolutely! Great session beer. My beer fridge is full of them.

Technically, it is not a session IPA, but my session beer would be Fremont Summer Ale.

Not my favorite style, as so few are worth a damn, and many are just plain bad. But....

NB Slow Ride was a pleasant surprise, Go-To is solid, and Easy Jack is also on-point.

Price and availability aside, Boat is as good as it gets.

Oasis Meta-Modern IPA, pretty damn tasty and at $6.99 a sixer, it's even better for summer!

Really lovin' Lawson's Super Session #2. Can't wait until it begins canning in July. I could easily crush 8-12 of them (if i wasn't paying $6-8 per draft at a bar).

Recently hosted a blind tasting of SIPAs. The top ones were Otter Creek Over Easy, Stone Go-To, and Ballast Point Even Keel. FW Easy Jack and Blue Point Mosaic got good reviews too.

I recently tried Smuttynose Bouncy House and was very impressed. Big hops for a SIPA.

I always wanted to do this since there's so many of them now. What was the full list?

If I did do it, I'd like to have one full beer per night (doing this blind would be difficult). I imagine your palate would get overloaded tasting multiple at once. I'm also a big propronant of having multiple beers to truly evaluate a beer. So, at least the full beer, and not just a few ounces.

I have yet to find one as well. I can drink one or two but everything I've tried has been so hoppy its left me with Cottonmouth. Its not that I don't like them. But I cant stand the chalk tongue feeling.

I completely understand if you like Boat, my comment was more in line with your comparison to Heady.

The second time I had 077 it was definitely better than the first, but nothing mind blowing. Boat was underwhelming across the board. Both were on tap.

While I haven't seen Carton in LB specifically, it's pretty easy to find north of the city where I grew up.

Recently have been enjoying NB Slow Ride. Looking forward to this one in cans...

My favorite ever is from my Local brewery here in Shreveport, La.

    Great Raft Make Believer

It was so dang juicy. They didnt bottle or can any of it last summer when they released it.
I am praying they do this in the future. Like near future.

    Take my money @AndrewNations
