I took the BA question mark and flipped it upside down. Why? I guess I'm just a prankster. Or a bastard. (Well, except for today. It IS Mother's Day, after all, and I'm not going to be rude.)

I used to write Keyser Soze on those "Hello, my name is..." name tags at meetings. It helped me to size up the crowd very quickly.

It takes a certain kinda of person to appreciate good beer. Some say "we're all mad", for doing what we do. Also spending as much as we do! Lol

Currently it means as a northern general there are some bad folks in the south that need to be reprimanded.

Traditionally it means I love IPAs and Heady/Jai Alai are/were two of my favorites.

March 18 Guilford Courthouse, Greensboro 1781. The last battle of the revolution before the British surrender at Yorktown. The truly honorable Lord Cornwallis surrendered to George Washington in 1781, basically stranded. The battle at Guilford Courthouse so depleted the British that their effort to hold burgeoning America at bay was completely foiled. If you walk the grounds you will feel the importance of the place.

I had two relatives- Poelnitz, from Alabama- both officers, killed at Chickamauga and The Battle of the Wilderness. Both posted on the Rotunda at UVA where they studied.

Apologies if my flippant response offended you. I take great pride in the USA and that goes all the way back to pre-Civil War time. I'm in a group of people here on BA that have proudly sent beer from their neck of the woods to people from the opposite direction of where they live. Cheers to those members of your family that gave all.

Oh no. Nothing like that. It was a terrible time that was almost impossible to recover from, but recovered we have. Cheers.
