Factoring in stores and bar trips, but not restaurants - probably in the region of 50-200 depending on what's going on that week.

I spend $60/month on bottles and usually have two drafts per week. Any time when I am traveling though, that number goes way up.

With all the trading I do there are many weeks I spend $0 on beer. Of course there are also times I spend way more than that on releases so it all averages out.

I average 1 $200 box from overseas and a couple trips to the bar for a beer or two per month. I think I am going to start only ordering beer every other month though, as it is getting kind of crazy.

Either you get a beer at dinner every other week or you like really really cheap hookers and blow.

$100+ month, but averages out to be a bit less than $50 a week (counting mostly beer store runs, as it increases significantly if I factor in going out with my wife).

$25-$50 range. The beers that I like range from $8 to $14 a sixer. Most 12 packs at $15. 750ml $8 to $25. Course I don't get them every week, but something every week. I like beer/ale so I pay the price. Cheers

Guilty on both counts. I've got my kid's college fund to pay into after all.

EDIT: Seriously though, a pint at most restaurants is about $5, so a beer per week when going out for dinner would keep me under $50, and I think that's about average for me.

It varies wildly. I average about 2 beers/day, many of which are in the Sierra Nevada price range. I spent about $50 last week, but I expect that that $50 to last for quite a while. 3 of the 4 Founders Imp Stouts will probably sit in my basement until October. All told I probably spend a bit over $100/month. I put myself in the $25-50 category.

I think this poll comes up once every eight months.

I did the math last week while doing recycling, and it's $12 a week for me, but I don't chase trucks, don't go out to bars like I used to, and my trading is practically non-existent. Just over ten years ago it was over $100 a week! :grimacing:

I voted $0-$25 but I don't even know how to average it out. I'll go months at a time where I buy next to nothing and then have a month like March where I probably spent $500 total.

I wish I had the funds to go wild with my beer spending. I normally buy a six pack and snack on it through out the week. Then get a few singles at the bottle shop for weekends. I'm always amazed at how people collect and age their beer. Can y ou do that on less of a budget? I reckon you could save on or two stouts out of a six pack or four...

I'd say it varies by week but generally in the $50-$75 range.

I went to Stateline up in Elkton for the first time last week to meet for an IP trade and got a little carried away.

As someone mentioned above, I save for certain times of year like November-February. I'm not too picky on my weekday beer. A plus is that, if you go broke, you can just start drinking out of your cellar. In about 6 months, through trading quantity for quality, and just drinking out the cellar, I haven't spent hardly anything on beer and I'm down to about 150 beers or so from 325. I'm much more pleased with my cellar now than I was then. I'm aging less, drinking more , and the overall quality of my cellar has increased imho.
