There are so many for sale right now on another site, ugh I hate that shit. Someone is asking 899$+ for the 5 bottle set.

Multiple auctions asking 200$+ for a single bottle as well

 

I saw that and almost shit myself.

 

I looked to see if any of the users names selling them matched members on here, none matched. Unless they created different names for the auction site.

 

That wouldn't surprise me. Paying $30 for a bottle of beer at the brewery was excessive enough, but $200? It's value shot up 7x in 2 days. Now that's some serious market value.

 

People need to get that much back to cover their expenses of the previously mentioned hookers/craigslist escorts/window washers from the theatre across the street.

These folks knew they could exploit the limitations, pay excessive costs to acquire more and still somehow make out for themselves otherwise they would not have done it. Greedy, greedy shit lords...I hope karma returns the favor.

 

I will wait to see the bottles that ACTUALLY sell. Although, I guess if you have unlimited $$ and want the beer than the fact that you are the only dope shelling out $200 a bottle isn't really an indication of fair value.

 

I was talking about this in line with a couple people and I got different answers from different people so maybe someone on here can clear this up. Is the kriek the same batch from the previous release last year, or is this a new/different batch?

 

i would assume a new blend. my case box said something about "bottled 10/24/2014"

 

the bottles themselves say they were bottled in October 2014, so definitely a new blend

What I found to be hilarious was the CoP was bottled 06/2013. I'm sure it tastes fucking amazing now!!!

Yeeeeeeep. I thought it was a new batch. I'm pretty sure most people did. I bet that extra year has made it super tasty!!!!!!!!
