Finally a second chance to get out of contestants row...last time I was on The Price is Right I got overbid by 1 so I went home with a box of encyclopedias and 2 iHome speaker docks as a conciliation prize. I was really just bummed I didn't get to spin the wheel. You have a wheel for us to spin, right? Also, do we have to pay taxes on the beer?

Don't most contestants just eBay sell one of their beers prizes to take care of the taxes?

That actually made me really happy :grinning:

Libbey I hope you do understand it's all in good fun and I have nothing but the highest respect for you as a BA

As much as I want to guess one higher that someone, I'll split the difference instead.

Well, that was anti-climactic. I was mashing F5 waiting for you to change your guess to 221 so I could throw down 222 before 5:00 :stuck_out_tongue:

I should have done 221 (or even 222), then switched to 206...

Admit it, you were afraid of the bad beer karma.

If you were backfat, I'd have done it.

At some point, someone will explain to me about Backfat. I've somehow managed to miss whatever it is he did to deserve such a bad rep. Was it Plintythefarteresque?

In the meantime, brees....tell us who won.

Sorry for the delay guys, work has been kicking my ass today and it looks like I'll be here for at least a few more hours...sweet. First, let me confirm I have the accurate final guesses from everyone before revealing the winner:

    libbey - 236
    FTowne - 189
    Steimie - 205
    FalconA - 220
    wsucoug96 - 251
    Rempo - 197
gpawned - no answer ?! Did I miss something? I see where you made a Price is Right comment but I don't see a guess.

Someone double-check me if you don't mind and I'll be back shortly to crown the winner. All I'll say right now is if the Showcase Showdown rules were in effect, someone would have won both showcases (i.e. two boxes) for being correct within 5 bottles. Which means one of you other boneheads should have not been so polite and went with a +1 guess...boy am I glad I didn't agree to that rule!

    First a few notes...

    1) The video was the hint I alluded to, there is no google doc.

    2) I had no idea how many bottles were in my cellar before I went downstairs and did a count last night. There are a few wine bottles in that room, a few empty bottles and at least two of the boxes are empty so the video would just get you close.

    3) The winner guessed correctly within 1 bottle!! Someone really should have one-upped him, haha. There are 237 bottles of beer in my cellar.

Congratulations libbey! I have your address from the TMToBA5 box and will be in touch soon - I plan to ship either this Monday or the next. Thanks to everyone who participated, even if this LIF did fall a little flat.

Those that didn't participate fully missed out. This was super fun. Props to Libbey.
