Sculpin- maybe because we don't get it fresh in New England, but had it on tap, in cans and bottles and meh

Maine Beer Co. Lunch. Had a bottle that was two weeks old and it was not good at all. Tasted like 70% awesome IPA and 30% water mixed together. I'd like to give it another shot, but for the cost, it's hard to pull the trigger. I like MBC's approach to business and would like to support them though. So I think that I'll just buy a bottle of Peeper when I have extra scratch lying around.

Here are two you didn't see coming; Side Project Black and Wild and, to a lesser extent, Fuzzy.

Black and Wild was just straight sour to me instead of having the dark malts as well. Fuzzy was decent, but it was just so sour that I had a hard time finding the peach in it.

Great topic. For me these are the standouts that don't do it for me:

    Jai Alai
    Hopslam

Sump, tasted like burnt coffee grounds.

Pliny is a really good beer, very aromatic but it doesn't have enough bite for my taste.

I'm really hoping the third Sam Smith variety (Taddy Porter) I sample somewhat lives up to the hype. The first two (oatmeal stout and nut brown ale) certainly didn't. I sampled them each multiple times and wanted them to be as promised.

This post. These beers are all near and dear to my heart and it pains me to see them go unloved. Please, please, send your unwanted and unloved beers to me as I will love them as my very own. Thank you.

Goose Island's Bourbon County Barley Wine. Tastes like barrel-aged cough syrup. Also not a fan of Meta Modern, Oasis' sessional IPA. Really. Can't understand the hype with so many other SIPAs out there that do better. Also, Jester King's Funk Metal. Bleh.

DFH WWS and 120. Unbearably boozy, i guess if you can make it past the first sip you can't taste it anymore, but i really don't see how anyone enjoys them.

Pretty much everything from Lagunitas. I used to love their beers, but maybe 6-7 years ago something changed. Maybe on their end, or my palate shifted, but I haven't enjoyed a beer from them in a long time.

Two Hearted here, too. I like it okay, but it's so oddly floral I can't love it.

PtE - I traded a few Julius cans for some and I wanted my Julius back after the first sip. (too malty)
Zombie Dust - it's not a bad APA, but #1?? Seriously??
Another One by MBC - every time i've had it i've been seriously disappointed, watered down in my opinion.
